The Story Behind Two Feathers

Two Feathers is more than a design — it is a personal story shared by Phyllis Webstad.

Phyllis identifies as both Indigenous and Caucasian. For her, Two Feathers represents living, learning, and belonging in two worlds. The design reflects the truth that identity can be layered, complex, and deeply human — and that every child matters, regardless of their skin of origin.

Two Feathers is a symbol of unity. It reminds us that reconciliation is not about division, but about understanding, respect, and shared responsibility.
