Family Owned Company for over 10 Years
We started out as a small, family run business in Northern Saskatchewan. Chris Walker and his brother Russell ran the promotional shop part time for a number of years. When Chris and his wife, Nancy, relocated to Williams Lake to be closer to family, Russell sold his shares and the couple packed up the equipment and brought it with them. In March of 2015, Do-More Promotional was up and running.
The business took off faster than the couple expected and Chris & Nancy were soon working 7 days a week. Nancy was eager to learn, as Chris provided hands-on training of the ins and outs of the business, teaching her everything that he knew. In 2016 tragedy struck, as Chris was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that quickly made its way through his body, and ultimately took his life.
After Chris’s passing, Nancy debated whether this business was truly hers and she made the conscious decision to continue in honour of Chris. Now approaching ten years in business in Williams Lake, Nancy knows that Chris would be proud of the changes, growth and challenges that this small shop has overcome, and the direction the business is heading in.
