A Story of Hope, Healing, and Reconciliation
Between the 1870s and 1996, more than 150,000 First Nations, Inuit, and Métis children were taken from their families and placed in Indian Residential Schools. For many, childhood happiness became a distant memory.
Emily's inspiring design reminds us that hope can grow even through difficult histories. It reflects a future where Survivors are honoured, healing continues, and every child is valued with dignity, respect, and kindness. Together, we can support Truth and Reconciliation by remembering the past and helping build a brighter future for generations to come.
