This advanced waterproof brushless ESC delivers full-throttle forward/reverse/brake capability and is specifically designed to handle the extreme power of the Big Block motor. Put simply, the VXL-8s is the most powerful Ready-To-Run® ESC on the market.

LED Status
Traxxas utilizes patented high-current connectors to send power directly to the Velineon VXL-8s ESC with Maxx Cable wiring. 6.5mm gold-plated connectors, when paired with the Big Block motor, provide an efficient power transmission. An onboard fan, coupled with an extended heatsink, keeps ESC temperatures low and ensures prolonged running time. LED status lights monitor temperature and voltage, while built-in safety programming safeguards against damage.

Real-Time Telemetry
The VXL-8s can be updated with the latest features through the free Traxxas Link App and the optional 6511 Wireless Module (sold separately). Enjoy real-time telemetry right on your mobile device—with no additional sensors required. Monitor speed, RPM, voltage, and ESC temperature while driving for an enhanced experience.

One Button EZ-Set^®
The VXL-8s provides the same intuitive one-button setup as all Traxxas speed controls, making technology easy to use. For those not yet ready for X-Maxx's 50+mph speed, Traxxas has included a Training Mode - limiting throttle to 50% while keeping full braking power. Low-voltage protection in two stages guarantees LiPo batteries remain safe and in good condition.
