We've had numerous requests for an ESC Cage for the newest versionof the Traxxas VXL-3S ESC (#3355R) since the mounting tabs have been reportedto us as weak. Why risk potential damage to your $220 (SRP) speed control whenthe RPM option is an inexpensive piece of insurance that willprevent those tabs from ever being a problem?

We eliminated the use ofthe two mounting tabs on the ESC in favor of a complete cage system thatsolidly locks it in place using RPM indestructible nylons. OurESC Cage is the most effective, durable and best protection for your speedcontrol possible. By completely surrounding and capturing the VXL-3S ESC,damage from broken tabs and ejection from the vehicle has been completelyeliminated.

The RPM VXL-3S ESCCage works perfectly even if one or both mounting tabs on the ESC have alreadybeen broken or cut off! Now there's no reason to rely on unpredictableadhesives or zip ties to retain your speed controller when our ESC Cage willlock it in place with 100% confidence each and every time!

While our ESC Cage will fit a variety ofapplications, they have been tested and only guaranteed to fit the followingvehicles in stock form only - Stampede 4x4, Slash 4x4, Slash 2wd & Rally.Also fits the following vehicles as long as Traxxas #3725 Mounting Plate (stockitem on VXL models) is used - Rustler, Stampede 2wd & Bandit.
